Andre has enjoyed a 30 year career in sales and marketing, both as a media owner and in agencies. His media owner experience includes Independent Newspapers, The Auto Trader Online and M-Web. Andre spent time at HKLM, Amorphous New Media and Acceleration / 25AM gaining valuable agency experience, having worked on large accounts in the financial services, telco, food and clothing industries, to name but a few.
He has been responsible for sales and marketing, client service, operations and held executive roles as both an Operations Director, as well as CEO. In 2017 Andre left 25AM and started consulting as a marketer to companies across the globe.
Andre’s focus is return on marketing spend (ROMI) and his motto is “if you can’t measure it, it’s probably not worth doing”.

Joined this award winning online media agency as CEO after leading the acquisition on behalf of Times Media. Implemented a sales led strategy after streamlining a fragmented product offering into a multichannel customer focussed approach. Rebranded the agency (from Acceleration to 25AM) without losing any institutional memory whilst increasing brand value. After three and a half years, facilitated the sale of 25AM on behalf of the shareholders and exited the business.

As Chief Operations Executive for this full service digital agency, my role was focussed on customer acquisition and retention through delivering world class digital solutions. This was managed through an attentive client service team that had absolute faith in their implementation teams, be they design, development or media. Focussed on recruitment and development of great people.
Sales and Marketing Manager for the technology vertical across 21 national titles, ensuring these titles were top of mind with both direct and agency clients. Marketing activities included product launches, events and activation's. Sales activities driven by road shows and personal selling.
The Auto Trader
Launched the website in South Africa on behalf of the Guardian Media Group, bringing the largest offline database of used vehicles in South Africa to the internet. Introduced the first of its kind dealer and private seller software, effectively converting the offer from a magazine led, to an online first product offering. Managed content partnerships and on-platform advertising.
